On Sunday, we had our dear friends Karen and David over for lunch and our regular monthly card game. Our friendship with them goes back nearly 20 years, beginning when David was our neighbour during our time living in Barrou. Over the years, we’ve shared many happy moments together and our card games have become a fun way to stay connected.
We originally played the more complex game of 'Tarot' but things got a bit too competitive. Thankfully, Karen introduced us to 'Up and Down the River', a lighter game that has brought the fun back into our gatherings
