One of the first things we did on arriving in Paris was to pick up a 'Navigo Easy Pass' and load it with metro tickets only to then walk 17.7km around the city yesterday! Our first stop was Notre Dame and it did not disappoint!
We did not bother to book a slot as we had heard that even without a reservation the queue moved very quickly and it did...10 minutes and we were in!
Much has been written about the fabulous restoration of the cathedral and seeing it firsthand, we have to say, it truly is miraculous.The craftsmanship, the care, the spirit of renewal... it’s all there and it’s breathtaking.
