Nature in all its forms - a Le Grand-Pressigny fete

Lovely afternoon in Le Grand-Pressigny yesterday for their fete day 'La Nature des tous ses etats'.

It was fairly quiet when we left early afternoon but we hope it picked up as the organisers deserved it...they even provided entertainment for the children.

Something else for the weekend...back to medieval times

The castle's courtyard will host a medieval village with its many shops and craftsmen here for the occasion.

The Company will host MANDRAGORE these days with many workshops such as dubbing, knights, blacksmithing, etc.
Joining them many artisans will display and sell their art (jewelry, wooden toys, bookbinding, tales, ancient beverage, bakery, etc.).

Bon week-end...

Yesterday's visit to Descartes' market  and gardens under a lovely winter's sun  finished of a very pleasant weekend for us after celebrating the Chinese New Year in some style at Cally's on Friday and our Fete St. Blaise in the village on Saturday...it is good to be back in the swing of things.

All's quiet...

Walking past the chapiteau from Saturday's St Blaise fete yesterday, it was all very quiet, with no hint of the bustling merrymakers of a great day out!
