As we used the route it was interesting.to note that for the most part there was no traffic control with seemingly a free-for all attitude prevailing. We did have a giggle to ourselves when after leaving the town we headed over to buy some walnut oil, at the mill at Availles-en- Chatellerault - we came across this set of lights,on red,on a country road with no visible work going on and no other traffic on the road!
They could have loaned them to Chatellerault.
