Sometimes you just have to stop...
Things come and go at the headquarters of children's entertaners in nearby Lesigny...but this was a surprise - no I don't know why!

Sometimes you just have to stop...
If this had been at the Chaumont garden festival we would be contemplating its message - an abandoned loved one perhaps?- but no need to exercise our brain cells here. It's an abandoned couch spotted in an abandoned garden in Sainte-Maure de Touraine.

Sometimes you just have to stop...
When visiting Chateau de Cande you cannot help but notice the magnificent railway viaduct over the river Indre. You drive beside and under it on your way -I just had to stop -stunning!
The viaduct dates from 1849, it is 752 m long, is 20m high and has 59 arches. Can you imagine the cost of having something like this built today!
As I said before -quite stunning!

Sometimes you just have to stop...
Pauline can get exasperated as I suddenly pull the car to a halt to take advantage of a 'photo opportunity'. I admit I have been known to do this in less than ideal situations...but sometimes you just have to stop. Like here as we were returning to Le Grand Pressigny from Barrou. Here in the Loire Valley you could spend your life taking pictures and still not capture all there is to this beautiful part of France.
