Another bit of recycling...

'Confinement' has seen me, like many others, get a number of small projects done that have been waiting for years as they were not high on the priority list. The little lean-to at the back of the barn  had been open-ended since we bought the house. When the roof of the barn was renewed we decided to extend it over the lean-to with the idea of one day using the space for storage.

It has taken a while, though we have been using it, to get to this stage. The good thing about this little project is that everything you see here apart from the door framing has all been recycled. Thh stone came from reducing the height of the wall on the right, the window from when 'Le Bourg' had double glazing installed, the cladding formed a bedroom in La Guerche and the door used to be on our inside/outside loo in Les Balcons.

Source of the cladding - bedroom in La Guerche. It was blue inside.

Door was from the loo at 'Les Balcons' - took it off over 10 years ago...knew it would come in handy one day!
