Opening night at 'Le Comptoir'

 
Last night saw the reopening of the former 'Chez L' bar in Le Grand-Pressigny under new management and with a new name 
'Le Comptoir'. This is a good thing for the village and means that the hard work the previous proprietor put in establishing the place as a bistro/music venue can be built on.
Last night's music accompaniment was provided by local stalwarts 'I Don't Know' and the atmosphere was very convivial. if, for us anyway, a bit too busy considering the current situation.

    It was too busy for us, we were spooked and didn't stay long. However it was great to see the place buzzing again and people enjoying themselves.
    We wish the new owners every success and will surely be back to enjoy a drink and a meal there when we feel less uncomfortable.
    Strange times...we hate how this virus has made us feel about things.
