On Thursday we headed up to Fife with Eileen to visit their brother Ron and sister-in-law Evelyn in Balmullo. We stayed in a charming B&B called 'Cantrip Cottage' just outside the village of Pitlessie and 10 minutes from the town of Cupar.
We were not looking forwardto the drive as the Cupar had been in the news with flooded streets and Balmullo had been cut off but our fears proved unfounded and we nad a lovely visit and meal before heading down to Edinburgh on Friday.
