Say you'll meet me down at the beach...

After returning to the village following our walk on Tuesday Pauline decided we had not done enough steps so we decided to check out the little beach we had spotted while doing the new river walk on Saturday. 

During the hot spell in summer we had noticed our neighbour Paul Henri returning from a bit of river swimming and he suggested we should try it. It's not something we do but we were curious as to where it was exactly. After having spotted it from the opposite river bank we headed down to the river bank knowing it was not too far along it.

We found a reasonably well trodden footpath but it was nit without its challenges...
