You gotta roll with it...

We went along to listen to 'Les Fortune Tellers'  the Rolling Stones tribute band, at Cafe de la Paix (again) in Descartes last night. Oddly enough after a busy day we were not as 'up for it' as we would normally be but we are so glad we went as it was probably one of the best sets we have had from them. The exuberance of our friend Caroline (big big RS fan) and the local characters certainly helped. I love the fact that although they have probably played these songs thousands of times over the years they still have a great enthusiasm for them, probably repeating myself here but it is infectious. Only thing was we never got under 'Mick's' tum!

I think I am Mick Jagger therefore I am...in Descartes

Kicked weekend off with friends at 'Cafe de la Paix' in Descartes being entertained by Rolling Stones tribute act 'Les FortuneTellers'...great gig as ever.

First time we have seen the new look - very  smart

They have added  keyboards and sax  to their  sound.

The saxophone player was too good looking to show you pic..

Love the way their drum kit doubles as a washing machine.

Moves like Jagger

On Saturday night along with friends we went along to the 'Cafe de la Paix' in Descartes to listen to the Rolling Stones tribute band 'Les Fortune Tellers'.

BTW the guitarist in front of the stage is a member of the audience!

We have heard them many times over the years and we were not disappointed! Back in the days when they were not 'Stones' exclusive they let me join them on the stage to sing the Beatle's 'Norwegian wood'.
Here is a sample of last night's performance...you can forgive him for not getting his tongue around the 'th' in thumb!
