Having a good time...

Can't help but smile every time we approach this sign on the road up from the Loire river towards the back entrance to the garden festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire...as I did last Wednesday on our second visit of the year.

A return to the garden festival...September 2019

Made our second visit to the International Garden at Chaumont-sur-Loire on what was another lovely September afternoon.

We decided to check out more of the artwork this visit as we had missed out on most of this on our last visit. Will post more on this later.You can take a walk with us through our earlier visit to the festival here

Visiting Chaumont Garden Festival...

Made our annual pilgrimage up the the garden festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire yesterday with Mike and Liz...another excellent day out and probably one of the best set of gardens for a long time...good fun!

Our current guests at the 'Old Walnut Mill' are heading up to the garden festival at Chaumont-sur Loire today as at least there is supposed to be a little cloud cover in a week of very high temperatures.

Another year another Garden Festival

The theme for this years International Garden Festival at Chateau de Chaumont-sur-Loire has just been announced, this year's gardens will be designed around 'Gardens of Paradise' - looking forward to it already. The festival will run from the 25th April until the 3rd of November.
