A full day...

Usual busy Quinze août with breakfast at the tearoom at 'L'Art et la Matiere' (huge piece of Malcolm's Victoria sponge -very decadent)

Then a quick browse of the exhibitors...

before heading over to Lesigny for their big brocante...

followed by an excellent afternoon of good company and food hosted by Mike & Liz in the form of their annual garden party.

Hospitality and how to throw a party!

Our hosts for our visit to Provence, my brother Richard,Francoise and daughters Caroline, Sara & Estelle.

We are in Provence to celebrate the 'special' birthday of Olivier the husband of Francoise's cousin Anne.

When it comes to throwing a party, they know how to do it.

Provide a great setting...

...great food

...excellent company

...live music

...an opportunity for friends to 'perform'

and dance, into the wee small hours...a recipe for a great evening!

Going to a garden party...in Le Grand-Pressigny

Yesterday afternoon we went over to the 'Garden Party' organised by the 'Fet'art pressignois' which is set up behind the church in Le Grand-Pressigny.

The efforts of the organisers were much appreciated under a beautiful blue sky. We joined friends for lunch from the temporary restaurant set up for the occasion. Great spread for €10.0 which included wine and dessert .
