Quinze août festivities...2023 part II

For the evening part of our Quinze août festivities we headed over to David and Jane's place just outside Le Grand Pressigny for a musical picnic.

'I Don't Know' started the evening off with a fine set then Dominique and I did a short set.

Dominique was joined by Patience and then Aline before Celtiqua brought the evening to a close with an excellent set.

We all joined in for the final song of the evening and to bring the festivities to an end - there was many a toast throughout the evening to 'absent friends' to those who could not make it along.

Festival des Barroudeurs

Good fun last night performing with Dominique as 'Old Hat' in Barrou. The village did their usual great job of setting the scene and providing a great venue. We started the night off on the little stage which was set up perfectly for us. Thanks to everyone who came along to support us!

An outing for 'Old Hat'...

'Bonne ambiance' last night for Old Hat's gig at La Taverne here in La Guerche ( La Ferme Des Granges ). Great to see friends from the three villages there. Thanks to everyone for your support and Dave for the pic..

Taking the high road...

Will be heading over the hill this afternoon to Le Grand-Pressigny for the first rehearsal in a while for a bit of 'Old Hat'! - looking forward to it!

Two villages in harmony for this year's 'Fete de la Musique'

This year for the 'Fete de la Musique' the villages of Le Petit-Pressigny & Le Grand-Pressigny have collaborated to give performances over two days. Delighted to be part of these events singing with Dominique on guitar, performing as 'Old Hat'. We are on at 8.00 pm on Friday at Le Petit-Pressigny and 6.30 pm on Saturday at Le Grand-Pressigny, so you will have to get there early to catch us - or late to avoid us!
