Loches and chocolate

We visited the 'Salon du Chocolat et des Douceurs Tourangelles' at Loches yesterday on our way over to the vide-greniers at nearby Beaulieu-lès-Loches. The xmas display above was from the stall of the 'chocolaterie' in Manthelan.

It wasn't all chocolate of course with something for everyone!

Not being a drinker of the amber nectar 'Writers Tears Whiskey' was new to me, apparently it is a relatively unique blend of Irish Pure Pot Still and Malt Whiskey.

Some items had less of an appeal!

Something sweet for the weekend...Salon du Chocolat in Loches

Thirty chocolatiers, displaying their best products and their know-how.
Espace Agnès Sorel, Loches 10 am-7 pm
Entrance: € 2.50 (free under 12 years old).
Scary to think it was way back in 2011 we last visited this event...and were slightly underwhelmed...but it is a charity fund-raiser so if you are in the area pop in!
