Our guide had suggested to us that we should walk back up to the river to catch the sun going done and when we arrived many romantic couples had bagged their spot as the waited for the moment.

I know taking a photo into full sun not recommended but it caught the moment!

Night-time certainly puts a different light on a city...

Day 2 of our winter road-trip.. a walking tour of Toulouse.

On our second day in Toulouse we joined in a guided tour of the city with our host Denise who provided many anecdotes to her excellent knowledge of the city. She also managed to make us look tall and slim in the photo she took of us in front of Basilique Saint-Sernin de Toulouse.

How lucky are we?, rained all the way down yesterday but stopped when we reached Toulouse!
