On yer bike!
The Loire Valley have done a good job in promoting and marking their routes for cyclists - this was from Beaulieu-les-Loches on Monday - it's as well the 'cabinet medical' is also signposted as I would need it coming from either Chenonceaux or Azay-le-Rideau.

It takes two to tandem...
Met this intrepid German couple passing through Barrou, they are doing a 6 country Tour from Altenberge in Germany to Lisbon in Portugal. As they left heading east I wondered if I should have said something!

We greeted more keen cyclists at 'Les Balcons' on Saturday looking forward to taking in the beautiful local countryside of Southern Touraine. The Loire Valley here in France offers such a diverse landscape that cycling is one of the most popular activities. From river valleys to undulating countryside with pleasant surprises around almost ever corner.
