Big day for Scottish rugby...

After having beaten the 'Auld Enemy' the Scottish team have to raise their game today as they take on a formidable French team - we wish them well and pray for a wee bit of luck,we may just need it.
These pics are from when we were lucky enough to attend a game at the Stade de France way back in 2005 (we were robbed) with friends and family. Above is my favourite pic. from that day.

Rugby - a different outlook.

Spent yesterday afternoon with French friends and family watching a Scotland victory in a house named 'La Touraine' under the watchful eye of Mont Ventoux here in Provence - not the worse thing to do!

Rugby memories...

In the thick of the 'Six Nations' rugby Facebook threw up a rather relevant  'memory' of a great day in Paris at the Stade de France way back in 2005 with family.

Proud...

An English friend had kindly invited me over to watch "England beating Scotland" at rugby yesterday on the big screen at 'Chez L' in Le Grand-Pressigny. Couldn't take him up on his kind offer as we had French friends and neighbours coming for apéros. As it happens I thought the game would be over prior to them arriving but got the timings wrong - they were kind enough to sit through the remainder of the game with us. It was great to get a rare victory over our great rivals, especially after the great run they have had...a long time in coming
