More tunnel vision in Ayr...

Our Sunday walk yesterday took us on our familiar shore/river/tunnel/park route of 10km.
It was good to see the Alloway Railway Tunnel project had advanced since our last visit with some striking additions.

We had arrived there after walking along the beach road where it was good to see so many people out walking and taking advantage of a lovely sunny day, even if a little misty.

Then along the river Doon.

Through the parks and gardens where I could not resist more photo taking of the carpets of croci.

Back to blue skies...

Good to see the blue sky back for this morning's walk to Barrou and back.

A winter's walk...

We met up with Paul on Sunday for a walk along part of the Forth and Clyde Canal before heading along the river Kelvin onto Glasgow's Botanic Gardens - it was a goodwalk but a wee bit tricky underfoot for us auld yins.

First outing of the randonnée club season...

Yesterday saw the first outing of the new season of our local randonnée club. Joel took us up behind Courvaux and back on what was a very warm day.
