We have put the tree up in an effort to feel a little more Christmassy but as it holds over 25 years of memories it also brings twinges of sadness that we all won't be together, physically, on Christmas Day.
This is one of the boys primary school creations that still has pride of place.
It would be good one day to have everyone over here in France for Christmas.
Out tree is similar. The same old (but full of memories) ornaments every year, but with one new one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you all.
I rather like that idea, Gaynor.....
Deletedo you get a new one every year, or just occasionally?
Nice tree, Jim & Pauline.... especially like the treasured decoration.... that's lovely that is!
Happy Christmas to you and your family, Jim and Pauline. How about we raise a glass to old friends on Christmas day?

Spooky...was (am) going to do a post nearer the time to suggest on a particular time on Christmas day we should ALL raise our glasses to friends and absent friends!
DeleteLess of the 'old', I think! We shall join you xx
