Another good bonfire night here in France with Boris Johnson being the guy. I'm sure he would have been a popular choice UK wide as well. Our version was courtesy of Kath who was given the job of transporting him to his lofty position on the fire.
Our hosts David and Jane provide the venue,their large barn,the bonfire,the food and drink plus David and Cally and Dave the music accompaniment. This year our French neighbours and friends joined in the fun with Dominique leading them in a song from the French Revolution about doing away with the monarchy - to keep to the theme of the evening.
I was given the opportunity to sing a couple of numbers which is fun for me as it's always a pleasure to join in with them.
We even had our own lighting department!
