His other half, Denise, was the leader for the day and provided us with a hill to end the 9.5 km, much appreciated! It was enough to thin out even this small band of intrepid walkers for the home straight!
It was interesting to see new (well, will be next year when he moves to France) member Bob (Robert) seemed to have the best reserve of energy to finish the walk
