In an effort to lift spirits this weekend we put our Christmas tree up in the Old Walnut Mill. Our 30 year+ tree had to be taken down a peg or two as we have made our salon a little smaller (but cosier) which meant in its original form it was just too big but happy enough with the result. It is always exciting switching on the lights and waiting in anticipation for them to light up, which they have not failed to do for goodness knows how many years.
