The last room of our project is almost ready for plaster boarding out so we went along on Tuesday to order a delivery of 20 sheets plus 8 sheets of flooring and insulation, Had requested a delivery late next week when the temperatures might be a little lower but as I wanted assistance in carrying them up to the first floor was reliably informed that due to holidays would be best to get an immediate delivery. So on one of our hottest days of the year yesterday we carried them upstairs. It is times like this that I realise that age is definitely catching up with me!
It's amazing how often we end up doing heavy work in the worst of the heat for some reason, usually because that's the only time help is on hand. It's not much fun so well done and you now deserve a break!!
