After our stay in Lyon we headed further south and east over to beautiful Menton which for us, was a return visit after being fortunate enough to have stayed during the 'Fete du citron' back in 2019 courtesy of friends who have been kind enough to offer us their apartment for this visit as well.
It took us no time at all to reacquaint ourselves with the place as we set off for a walk down to the beach where we were surprised to find both swimmers and surfers in the sea!
We chose a more leisurely pursuit .
