Pauline wanted to send a few Christmas cards to the UK and extended family in France. So when in Loches yesterday we availed ourselves of the services of the post office. We were surprised when presented with the individually wrapped plastic packaged stamps for local postage. The pic above is pretty much size for size, so it was a case of opening each one separately and then getting into the perforated centre. This task eventually fell to me as Pauline was struggling with the process and used a few cross words!
They were also trying to get rid of this year's stamps for sending 'etranger' before the snake comes in! Sure someone thought it was a good idea!
