Good first night in Toulouse where we joined the throng of people at the Christmas market on Place du Capitole, it was so busy inside that you could barely see any of the stalls but the atmosphere was very Christmassy.
After escaping the crowds we had an alfresco drink along with the hundreds of others who braved the cold temperatures.
Many people were also eating outside but we choose to go indoors.
Our walk back to our hotel over the Garonne was a delight.
