After walking through the entrance you enter into a series of courtyards and passageways with a variety of shopping experiences.
It was Sunday so it was pretty much deserted for our visit but you can imagine how good it would be when filled with shoppers. It currently gets over 70 thousand visitors per year. With many towns closing down small malls (like Ayr in Scotland) there could be an opportunity to establish similar ventures to bring new life into town centres.
the 'Factory Girls' mural,
Another mural just off Shipquay Street also pays tribute to female factory workers with the city once having the largest shirt factory in Europe.
