A walk around Tours' Botanic Gardens...

On Monday while on Tours we took another walk through the city's municipal botanical garden and arboretum.Dating from 1843 it is the city's oldest public garden.

It was originally a medicinal and exotic plant collection for the nearby pharmacy school but has been extended and added to over the years to create a recreational space for all the family.

If you have not already been we would recommend a visit,especially with children. We did not visit inside the hothouse for obvious reasons!
