Tour de France 2016...at a town near you?

You can catch 'La Tour' tomorrow by heading over to Chatellerault,down to Saint-Savin...or like us pick a quieter country spot on route.

No April showers...

We were happy to see that Le Grand-Pressigny had a fine day this year for their annual brocante after being washed out for the last couple of years.

There was the usual 'treasure'...

plus some interesting 'specialists'...

I can only assume these vendors lived by a bad bend with a high kerb!

Day out in Tours...

Current guests at 'Le Bourg' asked us to join them on the bus trip to up to Tours from Le Grand Pressigny.

We were blessed by a lovely spring day.

Place Plumereau was quiet but it is still a little early in the Tourist season.

The Loire riverside is yet to take on its summer makeover but we enjoyed the colours of spring.
