Blast from the past - February 2019

Anticipating another dreich February day today, it's important to remember that it isn't always like this. Was looking back on Februarys past and yes it has had its  moments of extremes but it can also be a month of clear skies and pleasant temperatures. These pics. are from 2019 when we sat with Dave on his terrace in Chaumussay on a lovely Sunday afternoon/evening and raised a glass to fond memories.

12 days until Christmas, day 2 let's look back - Month 2 - February

In February we  revisited the little village of St Valentin (36) on St Valentine's day of course!
Had a great day out to our local Fete de St Blaise in Barrou
Spent a very pleasant afternoon in good company at the *Fete des LACO in Le Grand-Pressigny.
Celebrated the year of the pig in some style.
We had our annual 'Randonnée des crêpes' in Le Grand-Pressigny where there was another good turnout on another beautiful day here in Southern Touraine.

At the end of the month we headed through Mont Blanc over to Turin.

Then on to Menton in the South of France

Alfresco in February...

Popped over to see our friend Dave just outside Chaumussay yesterday after working in the courtyard of the 'Old Walnut Mill'. We sat out on his new 'sitooterie', it used to be where his caravan, which was his and Hillary's first 'home' here in France, used to sit. Beautiful sunny afternoon finished of with aperos...lovely end to the day.

Pics. taken just as the sun was going down.
