Loved the candy floss sky we had yesterday for our walk around the village. It provided a lovely backdrop to our favourite terraces.
Not sure Wordsworth would have been inspired but pretty just the same!

Yesterday we decided to walk to Barrou and back and take in lunch at les Tilleuls. We were a wee bit unsure as to the weather as the forecast was predicting rain for the afternoon. We decided that it was worth the risk and as we headed over all was looking promising.
As we do our wee walks around the village we have to pass many barking 'guard' dogs some of which we are more than happy that there is a fence between us and them and others that we are less fearful of!
On our wee walk around the village yesterday,we are staying out of the high ground until it gets drier, we decided to explore a track we had seen a young lady jog along that we had never used.
After 15 minutes we came to a dead end with the track having taken us along to a private little oasis within the woodlands.
When you seethe woods bordering it you can imagine the hard work taken to create this piece of tranquility.
We of course could not enjoy it as it was very 'private' so we headed back with our nosiness having provided us with an extra 30 minutes of exercise, so not totally a wasted trip!
We took advantage of a bright, if chilly, morning to do what is now our go-to route around the village.
