Monday's walk around Betz-le-Chateau...and a little automation.

Before returning to the cars David took the group back via our favourite 'street' in the village, impasse de la Haute-Cour, where a lovely display of flowers and plants serve as the backdrop for the many animated models made by André Morin a retired (2003) carpenter.  André, who is a natural storyteller, was happy to start each automaton in turn and add his own background story to each.

Pauline and I have visited the lane many times and encourage visitirs to the area to do the same. It is good to see that André continues in his craft with his latest model being a homage to  Édith Piath.
