Our favourite gardens here in Southern Touraine 'Jardin René Boylesve' in Descartes are a delight all the year round. Currently dressed for autumn it is a photographers dream. We have always encouraged our friends to take advantage of the pleasant walks through the gardens and along the banks of the river Creuse after originally finding many had not visited the gardens in spite of spending many years here.
We visit several times a year. It is always beautiful and tranquil with usually very few other visitors there. A perfect place to take a picnic lunch and watch the natural inhabitants go about their daily routines.
