Classic lawlessness...

One of the fun things about being involved the Le Blanc bouchon from a drivers prospective is the ability to disobey the rules and cause disruption. With well organised marshalling by the motor cyclists there was no need to stop at junctions and parking was 'as you want'. Like on the middle of a mini roundabout...

or across a junction.

Quinze août 2014...

The weather was kind to us yesterday for the 'quinze août' celebrations at Lesigny with a well attended brocante and classic car display plus Liz and Mike's annual garden party.

They even had a classic car 'drive-by'.

It is the Lesigny annual brocante and classic car event today lets keep our fingers crossed for good weather!

Long and the short of it...

We had a very pleasant day yesterday over at Braye-sous-Faye's annual event, the Fête Champêtre du Bois du Temple, with Colin and Elizabeth. Among the classic cars on display were this stretch limo and this cute little Fiat.

Annual event...

Our 'quinzième Août' day over at nearby Lesigny proved to be as good as ever - pre-lunch walk around the stalls of the brocante, great long lunch at our hosts Mike and Liz's along with David and Karen, back to buy at brocante and view the 'classic cars' and finally 'up and down the river' in the afternoon - we know how to live!!

There was a bit of confusion when someone tried to buy this lady's washing...but peace ensued.

The 'classic cars' display proved as popular as ever (or was it the beer tent?) with one of my personal favourite being...
