The beginning of April saw our cherry tree at the Old Walnut Mill in full bloom but sadly it had all but disappeared just before our first guests of the season arrived.
In what was a busy weekend at the beginning of the year we had the pleasure of joining a couple friends celebrate 'special' birthdays over at 'Auberge du Vieux Port' in Maire on the 4th. Dinner as guests of our favourite American sisters who were staying at 'Le Bourg'on the 5th.
Then we had good fun at the PTA's dinner and Dance in Barrou on the 6th. Then on Sunday afternoon it was over to 'Concert Les Baladins' at Le Grand-Pressigny before joining our new tenants at Les Balcons for an aperitif to welcome them to their new 'home'.
We celebrated the re-opening of the restaurant in Barrou with the first of our friends who had arrived to open up their holiday homes.
April is a lovely time to be here in Centre-Val de Loire and for us it is a time to visit favourite place like Loches, Montresor and the tulips at Chateau de Cheverny.
