We said goodbye to our last guests of the season at the 'Old Walnut Mill' on Tuesday morning, a lovely couple from Ontario, Canada. We felt a certain affinity with them as they have spent much of their lives renovating houses and although now in their 70's they are completing the renovation of church into their latest home!
This is a good time for visitors to explore the area. No baking heat to drain the energy, no hordes of tourists to fight around, just peace and space and the chance of a good look around unhindered by zillions of other people.
