Purse perdue...

So, yesterday morning, just as we were leaving to go shopping Pauline could not find her purse - no problem, a quick search normally locates it. Not this time, all the usual places revealed nothing. Now, we are at that stage in our lives when keys and phones can often prove elusive but a lost purse is serious - oh the complications! Pauline was sure it was in the house but after a second search that included the less obvious places like the fridge, the bin etc...sure you have been there...we phoned Clare at the grocers in Barrou as this was last time she used it plus we checked with couple of friends we had visited - no luck. By this time there was more than a little stress on show but I then thought lets take it to the next level and went through Pauline's movements of the morning and as she made the bed I pulled over the top cover in case she had sat it on the bed but no, not there, then took the desperate step of pulling back all the covers and lo and behold, there it was having a nap! Much relief in the Craig household.

  1. A familiar tale in this house too. I'm glad it turned up - such a relief.
Nick found his house keys in the ashes of the kitchen wood burner. They were black but still opened the doors.
