The dahlias in our garden at Barrou have, for the whole of our letting season, provided s colourful display of flowers for our houses.
What a pleasant surprise to find this larger headed variety suddenly give its first 'show' of the year only last week. It is a much taller variety and we think it fell over due to being unsupported early in the year and we thought we'd lost it but no...here it is in all its glory.
Sadly due to the frost it had a short life looking as good as this...there's always next year!
