Patrimoine 2014...part I

Before going over to Le Louroux on Saturday we made our second 'Patrimoine' visit to the chateau at La Celle Guenand for another medieval lunch in their trogloydte caves. We did this back in 2011  but decided that our current Canadian guests at 'Les Balcons' might enjoy the experience.

As normal we arrived at the scheduled time but then had to wait 'French time' (plus 1 hour) before the guided tour of the chateau began, You don't get to see much but it is interesting enough.

Then it was down to the caves for our medieval lunch some mead...

...and some roast pork.

At our table we had an English couple, a Scottish Couple a Canadian couple and a French couple...very international!
