It would appear that it is not only the leaves on the trees that change colour at this time of year, the Boulanger in Le Grand Pressigny has had a dramatic and bold facelift. What do you think?
I like it more than the previous incarnation. The new look is more modern in appearance and I think, as Colin has already pointed out, the new font illustrates this. Perhaps the details can be passed on to the boulangerie in Le Petit-Pressigny; even the old decor would be an improvement .......
I'm not sure. I like it very much but somehow miss the old-fashioned look before.
I think I'm just sorry that things have to change at all. Something changes between every visit and I sure I would feel better about it if I was there to oversee it myself - as if we might turn up one day to find someone has modernised the old château - oops, that's already happened !!
Great paint job and I prefer the new font. The painters could have straightened the light they disturbed though.. Workmen!!!
ReplyDeleteVery observant - you have obviously a good eye for detail.

ReplyDeleteThey are our neighbours so I wouldn't dare!
ReplyDeleteI can't fault the bread though.

ReplyDeleteLike it - love blues and the font is easier to read. Noticed it the other day when we happened to be in the village.
