Chocolat...

Having missed the 'Festival National du Chocolat in Chatellerault' in October (see Colin & Elizabeth's blog) we decided to visit Loches' 'Salon du Chocolat et des Douceurs Tourangelles' on Sunday.
It had been organised by the Rotary Club of Loches as a fund raising event. It was by all accounts a lot smaller than the Chatellerault event with about 20 exhibitors. You had the chance to taste chocolate, of course, plus honey, tea, wine, cognac and foie gras.

.

We were lucky enough to arrive just in time for the speeches, after which we did a quick tour and taste before leaving with a small parcel to nibble as we walked back into the centre of town thinking we must do Chatellerault next year.

They obviously knew were coming and had the Scottish bunting out for us.

We never tire of visiting Loches and I must have taken hundreds of pics.here but that didn't stop me today as it was just such a lovely day.
